NAIA Academic Requirements

Register with the Clearinghouse as soon as possible:

Whereas the NCAA uses a sliding scale that allows athletes to get a minimum score on their tests as long as they achieve a high GPA, the NAIA requires only that you meet two of their requirements, and you will be cleared.

If you will graduate from high school this Spring and enroll in college this coming Fall, the requirements are simple. High school graduation, plus two out of three of these requirements:

— Achieve a minimum overall high school GPA of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale.
— Graduate in the top half of your high school class.
— Achieve the NAIA's minimum test score requirements:
18 ACT or 860 SAT (Critical Reading and Math), 940 SAT (Evidence-Based Reading and Writing + Math), if taken in March 2016 or after.

You want to register with the NAIA Clearinghouse as soon as possible. There have been instances where athletes have been accepted to play at a school but were not cleared on time and could not play at that school.
